just a thought
i think one of the saddest things that i ever think about is how my dad didn’t get to see his mom in the days leading up to her death. she was either in new zealand or australia and he, i wouldn’t say wouldn’t, i’ll say he didn’t think of catching a plane out to see her. fair enough, she wasn’t around for probably all of his adult life and i don’t mean this in a bad sense, i just mean that they may not have been as close as they could’ve been but yeh, i just wonder if he thinks about it too. when he heard that she had passed on, did he regret not seeing her for the last time?
